Happy end of the year gallery, 2007
We've been undergoing some technical changes and improvements here at Boegerweb central. On Thanksgiving day, the motherboard of Jack's Delly (4-year old windows/pentium workhorse) died, making it time to build a new system.

We decided to go back to Mac for the primary machine. Passed on the humongous Mac Pro it's much more powerful than I need since I'm not an animator at Pixar. Wound up with a screamin' iMac maxed out on memory (for amazing price) that just wants to kick my turd Dell into the Bay.
I only have one complaint so far aside from having to buy all new software... photo organizer Picasa is not available on Mac! iPhoto really blows compared to Picasa. Otherwise, after a couple of weeks getting set up and back into design/development,,,, I already feel at 1000x more productive thanks to Leopard's productivity "enhancements" and the all-around performance of this nice new machine.

You might also notice that the pictures have a different look to them. They are coming from the iphone camera instead of the old trusty Canon these days. The fun part is to optimize meager resolution to get that golden snapshot quality... like a good polaroid shot. It's all about capturing light, right?
